Speakers and Oral Presenters – Instructions

PRESENTATION UPLOADING

Speakers are asked to upload their presentation at the technical team desk (located inside the Amphitheatre) at least 2 hours before their session begins. There is no need to submit the presentation by email in advance.
Please bring your presentation on a USB flash drive or an external hard drive.
Speakers scheduled for morning sessions are strongly encouraged to upload their presentations the previous day.

PRESENTATION DURATION

Presentation length depends on the lecture type.

Please consult the Conference Program to confirm the exact duration assigned to your session. Note that the indicated time refers only to the presentation itself, as each session also includes a dedicated Q&A period.

PRESENTATION SLIDES CONTENT

Presentations must be strictly scientific in nature. References to company names or commercial products are not permitted.
A slide template is available for download; however, its use is optional.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Aspect ratio: Presentations must be prepared in 16:9 format.
  • File naming: The file name should include the presenter’s name and the presentation title. To prevent compatibility issues, please avoid using special characters (such as «, Ö, Ø, ñ, ε, ®, ý, }, {).
  • File format: Only Microsoft PowerPoint files are accepted.
  • Presentations created on Mac systems may not be fully supported; therefore, it is highly recommended to test any Mac-based files at the technical team desk several hours prior to the session.
  • Storage: Presentations must be saved on a USB flash drive or external hard drive.
  • Personal laptops cannot be used for presenting.
  • Macros are not allowed, and neither flash animations nor Prezi presentations are supported.
  • If your presentation includes video content, please test it in the session room during a coffee or lunch break, at least 1 hour before your session starts.
  • Note: Ensuring compliance with copyright and fair use regulations is the sole responsibility of the presenter.
