How to upload an abstract 

The form will guide you through the process of submitting your abstract. Each of the tabs on the left side of the page will display a step in the submission process that needs to be completed. At any point in the process, you can press the “Save as Draft” button to save your incomplete submission and return to it later. The Review section will give you an overview of the sections that still need to be completed before you can submit your abstract. Once all required sections have been completed, you can submit your abstract.  

Instructions for writing abstracts  

  • Written in English 
  • Title capitalized, maximum 250 characters; 
  • Authors’ names, written on one line, respecting the order: first name followed by last name (do not use professional/academic titles) 
  • The affiliation (section, institution, city, country) of both the first author and co-authors. The first letter of each word must be capitalized 
  • The text itself will be a maximum of 300 words (maximum 2000 characters, not including title, authors and affiliation) 
  • Insert a line containing 3 – 5 keywords 
  • The text itself should follow the known structure: introduction, material and methods, results, conclusions (avoid “results will be presented”); the text should contain sufficient detail to justify the conclusion 
  • Introduction, Material and method, Results and conclusions 
  • Tables, graphs and photographs are not acceptable in the abstract 
  • Abbreviations will be explained when first appearing in the text
